We'll send an email and include the job details and a link to this posting.Recipient's NameRecipient's EmailYour NameYour EmailSend me a copyDistrict Office Coordinator - Mohave District AnnexPOSITION OBJECTIVE: The District Office Coordinator provides administrative support to the Superintendent, Mohave District Annex (MDA) administration, and district office stakeholders. This position serves as the first point of contact at the district office for staff, visitors and community members; directs inquiries appropriately; coordinates office functions; and researches and responds to issues and questions on behalf of the District.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)1. Support District operations by coordinating office staff, space and activities, and maintain office facility schedules for the purpose of coordinating available space.2. Performs a variety of administrative support activities and duties including maintaining files, calendars, and records for assigned area of responsibility, developing and typing correspondence and reports, assisting telephone callers and office visitors, and maintaining databases.3. Provides front desk administrative support and coordinatores scheduling between MDA and the Education Center.4. Manage interoffice operations including, but not limited to: incoming mail, office assignments, and staff compliance with policy (e.g. wearing badges).5. Responds to inquiries from staff, parents and the public for the purpose of providing information and/or directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.6. Assist the Director of Communications with requisitions, invoices and other administrative activity.7. Supports activities within the department of the Superintendent which includes: communications, budgeting, workflow, media inquiries, public inquiries, and/or other related information.8. Maintains good working relationships with district leadership, department heads and ALL employees in order to facilitate positive internal communication.9. Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to: monitoring media coverage and writing weekly communications to teachers, administrators and classified employees).EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (positions in this class typically require): High School diploma or equivalent. Job related experience is required.LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: (positions in this class typically require):Licensing Requirements:KNOWLEDGE: (position requirements at entry):Knowledge of: Customer Service; responding to sometimes complex requests for information from parents, students, staff and the general public Office Management; coordinating staff and space District policies and procedures Current district leadership, schools and major programs Filing systems; maintaining complex and confidential files and information Answering and transferring phone callsSKILLS:Skill in: Managing calendars, schedules and spreadsheets, using Microsoft Outlook and Excel Writing and editing copy to improve readability and correct errors in spelling, punctuationand grammar Performing and overseeing a variety of more difficult clerical duties Ensures equipment is operating properly.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.NOTE: The above job description is intended to represent only the key areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the business needs of the department.Return To Work Retirees will have an hourly rate approximately 9% lower than listed below without falling below minimum wage.
