About the Position:

Type: Full Time Regular

Location: Matrix Medical Network Corporate Office 9201 E Mountain View Road, Suite 220, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

Hours: Days and Occasional Weekends

Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 a year

What to Expect:

The Senior Information Technology (IT) Asset Management Specialist is responsible for the monitoring and execution of asset management processes and procedures. The Senior IT Asset Management Specialist will work with the IT Infrastructure Leadership on building out and maintaining a sustainable IT asset management capability across Matrix Medical Network. Responsibilities include managing IT assets throughout the lifecycle including tracking, shipping, receiving and exceptional follow-up to resolve issues. This role drives standardization of asset management best practices and collaborates with internal IT teams, vendors, and other business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the IT asset database, tracking and maintaining accurate inventory records, and logistics including managing the incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Work with managers and supervisors to obtain equipment returned post-employment
  • Keep asset tracking system up to date with accurate information
  • Monitor all physical inventory levels to minimize outages, including hardware located both internal to Asset Management Tracking system and hardware located outside of that system
  • Reconcile active employee or vendor list with asset assignment list
  • Coordinating quarterly and annual IT asset audits
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of asset management policies, procedures, systems and measurements in order to manage the asset portfolio, identify risks, track costs and control adherence
  • Prepare, analyze and complete financial and operational reports utilizing asset records and vendor provided reports to include calculations of cost and value
  • Provides recommendations to manager regarding asset optimization, cost optimization opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)
  • Computer software and hardware knowledge and experience
  • Supply Chain Management experience (preferred)
  • CPIM Certification a plus
  • Three to five years' experience managing computer hardware inventory (required)
  • At least four years experience in a customer service role (required)
  • Previous workflow and/or process management experience (required)
  • Experience in completing internal hardware asset audits, analyze results, identify trends, and recommend and implement solutions to ensure consistent annual asset refresh costs and standards compliance. (required)
  • Experience in IT industry best practices for efficient hardware lifecycle management. (required)
  • Experience in data analytics and data management (preferred)
  • Practical knowledge of project management (preferred)
  • Knowledge of these systems (preferred):
  • Asset Management tracking software
  • Windows and MS Office

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent equipment retrieval experience
  • Ability to turn data into information for inventory reporting purposes
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
