This position will be based in either our Scottsdale, AZ or Dallas, TX office.


This position resides on the Deal Desk team within the larger North America Sales Operations Team. The Deal Desk team provides strategic, cross-functional, and comprehensive assistance for sales contracting and financial compliance.


As a Sr. Deal Desk Analyst, you'll be working on creating and executing scalable solutions that help our sales team and leadership make informed decisions, and focus on streamlining efforts across the business. Seeking a team player with a positive attitude who can be a strong business partner to the sales organization and internal cross-functional departments. With a hands-on approach and deep knowledge of the sales lifecycle and operational best practices, you will make an immediate impact at Blue Yonder.

What you'll do:

  • Serving as a trusted adviser to sales executives and their teams on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support sales efforts

  • Implementing and managing approvals for non-standard deals and effectively collaborating across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue

  • Leading deal optimization, profitability, and strategic positioning

  • Assessing financial and revenue risk for non-standard deals and understanding and embedding financial/legal compliance

  • Driving and executing decision reviews, approvals, and executing across competencies (quoting, legal, revenue, etc.)

  • Proposing and helping incorporate custom terms and legal edits for contract documents

  • Collaborating and working with global Deal Desk leadership to deliver consistent and exceptional support to our sales organization

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in software or another high-tech industry, preferably in a deal desk, sales operations, contracting, revenue, or similar function that includes frequent interaction with the sales team

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral, with a proven ability to present information clearly, succinctly, and effectively

  • Experience managing the end-to-end deal flow at a software or other high-tech company

  • Ability to understand complex technology solutions at a functional level

  • Must be willing to take hands-on approach to triaging complex situations or escalations and work cross-functionally to resolve them

  • Strong analytical and influencing skills

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment.

  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
