The role of the Credit Analyst, Senior requires a self-motivated
individual who is looking to partner with an industry leading
Fortune 5 company. The Senior Financial Consultant position is part
of our PBM Revenue Cycle team; a professional team that manages the
client's financial relationship within CVS Health's PBM business.
In this role, the Credit Analyst, Senior will play an important
part of the department's ongoing success related to customer
service, client satisfaction, cash management and efficiency
enhancements within the department.
The Credit Analyst, Senior will manage an assigned region
consisting of various size (receivables) PBM clients. The assigned
region may consist of 500 to 700 clients. Each client may vary in
terms of revenue. Generally, the client receivable represents a
portfolio of larger clients within the PBM family that may have
unique requirements involving billing, payment applications,
purchase orders and/or reporting. The specific assignment of
clients will be at the discretion of the Senior Finance Manager and
will be based on the overall needs of the department.
This is a professional level position that requires experience
in managing and reconciling accounts. The candidate must be an
independent self-starter that can work with little supervision in
an environment that is goal oriented, challenging, and customer
service focused. Responsibilities include the management of their
assigned clients using a variety of automated systems and
processes. The Credit Analyst, Senior will respond to, and bring to
resolution, a variety of client billing and payment issues by
making key recommendations and/or identifying alternative solutions
to support the mutual outcome benefiting CVS Health and the client.
The Credit Analyst, Senior will follow approved guidelines and
policies regarding routine client interactions. The Credit Analyst,
Senior will make independent decisions that require individual,
reasoning and problem solving. The selected candidate must
interpret and communicates effectively to internal and external
customers on items related to all aspects of CVS' financial
relationship. This individual must also accurately document
interactions and interpret contractual obligations to both our
internal and external partners. Must have excellent customer
service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to secure
payment reimbursement from their assigned clients.
The Credit Analyst, Senior will also provide subject matter
expertise that will support their colleagues, by gaining in-depth
experience and knowledge on many cross-functional processes and
systems. The individual must quickly identify impacts to the
operations, and fully assess consequences on all dependent
functional areas. The successful candidate must also,
independently, function as a lead and/or a coordinator on key
projects by partnering to drive innovative technical solutions that
aligns with department guidelines and objectives.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assess the revenue cycle process and how they align to overall
strategic goals of the department.
- Work with revenue cycle management by identifying key payer
problems and bring forth thoughtful solutions.
- Evaluate and analyze system reports to track trends and provide
reporting on department's KPI's.
- Direct, lead, and conduct meetings to resolve open issues.
- Work closely with key sales personnel, account management, and
other various internal partners toward common goals.
- Develop and implement action plans for improvements utilizing
systems and/or enhanced processes.
- Perform other related duties as directed by management.
- 3+ or more years' of related experience
- Healthcare revenue cycle experience
- SAP, AS400 system knowledge a plus
- Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office,
- Excellent communication and written skills required
- Strong analytical skills, Strategic Thinker
- Detailed-oriented and well organized
Bachelor's degree required.
