ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an ambitious Data Migration Specialist who is passionate about playing a critical role in a company poised to innovate the healthcare services sector and reach stratospheric levels of growth and success.  You should be customer centric, enjoy challenges, possess a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to getting things done in a less structured but highly collegial environment and be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.  The Data Migration Specialist will assist in guiding new groups through migrating data from their legacy software system to LifeStance’s Practice Management and EHR software (AdvancedMD).  We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality, a sense of humor and a go-getter attitude.  With success in the position, you will have the opportunity to grow your duties and responsibilities commensurate with the growth of the company.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Meet with clients or management to understand data migration requirements and needs
·       Strategize and plan an entire project, including moving the data and converting content as necessary, and sunsetting the legacy system while considering risks and potential impacts
·       Audit existing data systems and deployments and identify errors or areas for improvement
·       Cleanse or translate data so that it can be effectively moved between systems, apps, or software
·       Oversee the direct migration of data, which may require minor adjustments
·       Test the new system after the migration process as well as the resulting data to find errors and/or points of corruption
·       Document everything from the strategies used to the exact migration processes put in place—including documenting any fixes or adjustments made
·       Orchestrate operational strategy to guide the client through the migration process and ensure their preparedness for managing the overlap of two systems
·       Develop and propose data migration best practices for all current and future projects
·       Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines for all migrated data
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 
·       Bachelor’s degree preferred
·       3+ years of experience providing customer support or training on a software product, preferably within a clinical environment
·       Proficiency using MS Office suite required; including intermediate level Excel skills
·       A strong understanding of data protection, data governance, database systems and software
·       Able to work with all levels of management and clinical staff, including doctors, in an effective, proactive manner
·       Excellent communication skills and ability to foster strong relationships
·       Strong attention to detail in order to evaluate data for accuracy and errors
·       Excellent time management skills and a goal-oriented personality
·       Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
