The Customer Experience Specialist is an integral part of our approach to person-centered care with top notch customer service. The Customer Experience Specialist works in a call center environment and will be responsible for handling a large volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and text messages through our internal systems. They will help callers obtain and complete necessary paperwork, make follow up appointments, complete data entry tasks, and answer any questions that the callers may have. The Customer Experience Specialist will speak with patients, caregivers, medical providers, social service agencies, and other members of the patient's multi-disciplinary team to ensure the most effective care delivery for every patient. We are a 24/7 call center with multiple shifts available: 3pm -11:30pm Sat / Sundays 11pm -7:30 am Monday through Sunday optionsResponsibilities of the Customer Experience Specialist include: Answer incoming calls and text messages from customers through a phone queue. Assist customers with requests for information, complaints, making appointments, and resolving issues. Maintain and update customer and referral information. Accurately documents all phone calls and activities in the member's record. Effectively triage calls to the appropriate party while providing outstanding customer service at all times. Assists in the involuntary process of Title 36, as needed for patients. Other duties as assigned.PM21POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferable in a healthcare related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Active listening and comprehension skills Displays professional telephone etiquette and ability to use advanced phone systems. Ability to communicate calmly and diplomatically with customers, co-workers, and visitors Keen attention to detail, especially involving checking forms and documents for proper information Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Proficient in customer service Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare or Related Field Experience in a call center environment TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS EOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
