are looking for a Pool, Radiologic Technologist in our Mesa
Clinic.Please see below for the functions and requirements for this
position.This is not a full-time position. Hours are on an
as-needed basis.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms radiology procedures as
ordered by physicians and providers.Travels to other clinics as
directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.Processes
room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases.Uses equipment in
compliance to all safety requirements.Complies with all HIPAA and
OSHA requirements.Reports any patient complaints or concerns to the
Chief Technologist.Establishes and maintains effective
communication with physicians, employees and other
departments.Responds to patient questions as required to resolve
issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.Maintains
patient confidentiality.Attends required department staff
meetings.The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for
job position.EDUCATIONAssociates Degree in Radiology Technology and
current ARRT certification.EXPERIENCE1-2 years of experience as a
Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or clinic
environment.REQUIREMENTSCurrent state and ARRT certification with
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures.Knowledge of
operating a PC and applicable computer software.Knowledge of safety
requirements within the department.SKILLSSkill in production of
radiology exams.Skill in obtaining patient information via the
computer.Skill in maintaining professional relationships with
patients, family members and the public.ABILITIESAbility to
effectively care for patients.Ability to communicate clearly to
patients, family members and staff.Ability to maintain professional
relationships with providers.ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONSNormal
office environment.Some travel within community.PHYSICAL/MENTAL
DEMANDSRequires sitting and standing associated with a normal
office environment.Combination of bending, lifting and transferring
activities.Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer
keyboard.
