Senior IT Support SpecialistScottsdale, AZCadence Education is currently in search of a Senior IT Support Specialist at our School Support Center in Scottsdale, AZ.The Sr. IT Support Specialist acts as a support to resolve any school and corporate information systems issues. This position also is responsible for problem determination, problem resolution, and systems reporting.Senior IT Support Specialist Responsibilities+ Ensures all problems are resolved to user's satisfaction and in accordance with service level agreements+ Performs high level problem determination via phone or remote access software using diagnostic procedures to isolate the failure to a component, whether that be hardware, system or application software+ Maintains an action plan for problem resolution and keeps the user updated on problem progress and status+ Conducts trend analysis of callers, call information, hardware and software+ Escalates problems to appropriate team member when necessary+ Notifies vendors of required service as needed and holds vendors accountable to contractual service levels+ Test and deploy of new software and/or hardware along with recognizing the need for new software and planning for an upgrade+ Facilitate in-person and online classroom training, organization and process management of new software and/or hardware+ Perform setup and configuration of primary workstations for each end-user+ Receive input from end users regarding their IT needs, balance their input with company resources and what is best from an IT perspective, and make recommendations for future hardware, software, peripherals, procedures, etc. + Ship and track hardware and equipment per process+ Recommend modification to procedures as required+ Act as department representative with responsibility for Company projectsEducation, Experience and Skills Required+ Must possess Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and customer service skills+ A.A. or B.S degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 4 years IT Support/IT help desk (Hardware and Software) experience or+ High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years IT Support/IT help desk (Hardware and Software) experience + A minimum of 2 years customer service experience+ Advance knowledge of computer hardware, networking and software troubleshooting+ Experience in cabling Cat6 cable through conduit, above ceilings and between floors per job specifications+ Working knowledge of Asterisk/FreePBX VOIP Systems a plus+ O365 Cloud User management and deployment+ Should be analytically oriented and possess good problem-solving skills+ Should be curious and inquisitive about new technology and can pick up new concepts quickly+ Excellent communications skills, both written and oral+ Proven training/education skills, both written and oral+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and constantly changing projects+ Attention to detail+ Must possess Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and customer service skills.Cadence Education is one of the premier early childhood educators in the United States, operating over 225 private preschools and elementary schools across 27 states.
