Christmas at the Princess - Ice Rink Referee

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Christmas at the Princess Operations,
responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not
limited to the following:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced
environment
- Display precise knowledge of all event activities and experience
inclusions
- Confer with facility managers in order to provide information,
coordinate activities, and discuss opportunities
- Inspect sporting equipment and/or examine participants in order
to ensure compliance with event and safety regulations.
- Maintain standards of play and to ensure that safety rules are
observed
- Signal participants or other officials to make them aware of
infractions or to otherwise regulate skating experience
- Teach and explain the rules and regulations governing ice
rink.
- Keep track of event times, including rink times and starting or
stopping sessions when necessary.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging
service
Your experience and skills include:
-Hockey or figure skating experience
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced
environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a
team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and
courteous at all times
