cutting-edge open source to build the platform.Presently our team
consists of 50+ global team members in software development, QA and
Agile process owners; with 4-5 scrum teams. Role Overview: As a
Senior Data Modeler, you will be a key senior team member
responsible for helping make very efficient and effective data
models.Contribute heavily towards Data model designs that are
consistent and standard across different products Work closely with
senior architects to strengthen the overall product quality. You'll
design and architect insightful, concise data modeling solutions to
drive the most informed, effective decisions for our business
strategyWhat we are looking for: Collaborates with Business and PMG
as an Supply Chain subject matter expertGather requirements from
both the Business partners and create high quality technical
artifacts such as Source to Target Mappings (STMs) and Record Level
Specifications (RLS)Strong working experience in interpreting
business information requirements to create new and update existing
Conceptual, Logical, Physical (both dimensional and relational)
data models in OLTP, ODS / OLAP (data warehouse), and integration
environmentsUpdate data dictionary definitions, governance
practices, and standardsAssist the projects to map data and provide
conceptual design, logical design, external data interface
specification, data loading plan and data maintenance planKnowledge
of emerging modeling techniques and experience in physical data
modeling for relational and NoSQL/unstructured databasesDevelop
Entity-Relationship, Dimensional, Canonical and other Data
ModelsPartner with development teams in the data design of complex
solutions and ensure that they are in alignment with the data
architecture principles, standards, strategies, and target
statesDevelop and maintain a formal description of the entity
models and data structures in accordance with standardized modeling
practicesEnsure the governing standards for data model development
are adhered to and initiate opportunities to further improveWork
with stakeholders and development teams to ensure the solutions are
working as expected and business value is being providedPreferred
Skills and Experiences: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of
relevant work experience6+ years of data architecture experience
(modeling, solution design, integration)Experience collaborating
with distributed teamsBroad understanding of Enterprise Integration
Patterns (EIP), integration approaches and transports, and knows
how to apply them to the development of data models and workflows
Develop and guide technical delivery (architect, design, and/or
code) of the canonical and other data modelsWork with multiple
application teams concurrently to analyze requirements for
designing the data modelFamiliar with IoT data,various industry
governing bodies such as GS1, OAGIS, and ARTSExperience with Agile
development (Scrum or Kanban)Ability to pick up new technology
quicklyGood analytical and communication skillsCommunication &
stakeholder management skillsProblem solving skills to develop
quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issuesWhat you will
