Job Description Summary:
One of the top strategic priorities for PayPal is to make PayPal
available to our consumers wherever they shop - either online or in
store, and at the heart for this endeavor is PayPal's OmniPayments
team. The OmniPayments team is responsible for the design,
development and optimization of PayPal's core payment systems,
payment methods and payments innovation, being that a critical part
of the success is to work and manage strategic partners that share
the same passion and excellence for delivering great customer
focused products. As a pillar of the OmniPayments team, the
Enterprise Payments Partnership team (EPP) team is responsible for
defining and managing the global payment partnerships that enable
the movement of funds into and out of the PayPal system. EPP team
is seeking a tenacious and creative intern to manage key
partnerships and other industry's giants, in a diverse complex
environment. This professional will work collaboratively and
cross-functionally within the OmniPayments teams and the whole
organization to help define and execute the payments strategy
leveraging external partners to further PayPal's strategic business
- Seek constant optimization of our payment solutions, making
recommendations to improve approval rates, availability of payments
products globally and lowering costs.
- Understand PayPal's strategic and competitive position and
partner with different teams to deliver best in class
- Manage partners through escalations and ensure resolution
across partners, merchants, and internal teams.
- Build trust and effective relationships with
peers/cross-functional teams, facilitating joint product
development, co-marketing, and other opportunities.
- Work with global teams to assess the impact of key Industry
trends and changes, share perspective, and seek clarity.
- Develop and execute proactive partnership strategy and programs
to elevate PayPal's competitive position as Industry leader
- Must currently be pursuing MBA degree in related field from an
accredited college or university.
- Energetic, creative, and strong relationship management
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and cross functional
environment with proven track record of delivering projects.
- Great influencer - make positive and strong personal
impressions on others to affect the development of the business by
influencing or negotiating.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced
- Strong problem-solving abilities - you can cut through the
noise and laser focus on what really matters
- Experience working with internet technologies, or the payments
industry is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with ability to interface and build relations at
