Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a leader to Chair the Division
of Endocrinology. Mayo Clinic founders provided the vision of

joint collaboration between Mayo Clinic and Arizona State
University, one of the leading science and technology institutions
in the country. Mayo Clinic Arizona is also part of the Mayo Clinic
Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC) is one of the largest, most
comprehensive cancer centers in the world, treating more than
125,000 cancer patients each year.The Endocrinology Division at
Mayo Clinic Arizona is one the top ten most specialized medical
centers in Endocrinology care by Newsweek magazine in 2022 and
amongst the best for Diabetes and Endocrinology care by US News and
World Report rankings for . As with other Mayo specialty divisions,
our Endocrinology Division is dedicated to the care of chronic and
serious disorders, covering all facets of Endocrinology. Our
comprehensive approach to diabetes care includes a Diabetes
Technology Clinic, diabetes education, nutritional services and
transplant-specific diabetes care (our facility completes the
largest volume of kidney transplants in the country). We also have
an established bone metabolism and osteoporosis support, with
Inpatient Fracture Liaison Services and an Ambulatory Infusion
Center that osteoporosis treatments. We provide same-day access to
procedures within the Endocrinology clinic for thyroid ultrasound
and fine need aspirations. The Division also has a Transgender and
Intersex Specialty Care Clinic offering multidisciplinary care to
patients in partnership with our Psychiatry, Plastic Surgery, ENT,
Urology, and Gynecology colleagues. An ACGME-credited Endocrinology
fellowship with rotations Phoenix Children s Hospital and the
Phoenix VA Hospital is in place.The Endocrinology Division Chair
will closely with the Department of Medicine Chair (Pankaj
Pasricha, MBBS, MD) and the CEO of Mayo Clinic Arizona (Richard
Gray, MD), their Administrative Partners, and other Division
leaders to achieve the facility s overall mission and strategic
goals. Candidates for the Endocrinology Division Chair must have a
demonstrable track record of innovation in research or clinical
practice systems. The Department of Medicine is the largest
Department at Mayo Clinic, Arizona and is committed to robust
growth in research, discovery, and innovation over the next few
years. It is expected that the Endocrinology Division Chair will be
an effective partner in that growth, providing strategic direction
over the three Mayo shields: clinical practice, research and
education. The ability to mentor a group of diverse faculty
