EcoFasten is looking for a dynamic Buyer/Planner with a proven track record of developing supply plans, procuring global finished goods, raw materials, and balancing inventory investments. As a key contributor to our supply chain team, the Buyer/Planner serves as the first point of contact for assigned products and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and self-sufficient with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do

• Maintain strong relationships and communications with suppliers to confirm production, shipping, and delivery schedules for assigned categories and suppliers
• Proactively monitor and maintain accurate transaction-level detail of PO's in ERP system
• Develop supply plans and procurement activities balancing vendor capacities, lead times and cost across a globally diverse set of suppliers.
• Work independently and proactively to manage appropriate inventory levels for materials and maintain continuity of supply ensuring on-time delivery to EcoFasten customers
• Manage MRP exceptions and implement fixes for supply risks or vendor issues
• Analyze supply data sets and act on trends such as supplier OTD performance, material usage, forecasts accuracy, spending, and other key business variables.
• Manage MRP data integrity, product rollovers and transitions, and obsolescence
• Interface regularly with internal clients as first-level escalation point regarding product availability, product lead times and customer orders fulfillment delays, as well as resolving issues pertaining to quality, invoicing, and receiving
• Contribute and document Sales and Operations planning and procurement business processes and enhancements
• Drive regular supply chain issues meetings as needed
• Track and report key performance indicators of major subcontractors and suppliers
• Partner with Sourcing to develop product transition and scale-up timelines for new suppliers and ramp down of nonpreferred suppliers.
• Actively participate with Sourcing, Suppliers, Engineering, Quality and Material Planning teams for EcoFasten and Esdec NPI & ECO processes
  What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years experience with Procurement, Planning, Fulfillment, or Business Operations
  • Skilled at developing supply plans across multiple warehouses that balance vendor capacities, lead times and cost across a globally diverse set of suppliers
  • Advanced knowledge of materials, planning, master scheduling and manufacturing processes
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with ERP and inventory management systems; ideally Microsoft Dynamics, Slimstock or other cloud-based platforms
  • Experience with global transactions between North/South America, Asia & Europe
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Direct experience with APICS, CPIM/CSCP certification or S&OP programs and ISO standards a plus
  • Solid understanding of change order management and import/export compliance
  • Education: BA/BS
  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Travel: Occasional travel in US/Asia/Europe
    Where You'll Be LocatedThis position is on-site, at our headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
    What We'll OfferWe offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $80,000 and $85,000/annually, if located in Phoenix market. In addition to base salary, Esdec Solar Group employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position. If your desired salary falls outside of these rates, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
