acquisition team. We are looking for a highly skilled recruiter
with experience recruiting in consulting, advisory, public
accounting, or other professional services segments. This critical
position will represent us in the talent market by identifying
qualified candidates, communicating our value proposition to them,
and shepherding applicants through the hiring process into
successful placements. By way of background, Equity Methods is a

Objectives of this Role
- Partner with Equity Methods' practice leaders to deliver a
transformative and thoughtful recruiting experience for prospective
employees.
- Be a both strategic and tactical key member of our team with
responsibility for developing sourcing strategies that enhance
retention and meet the operational needs of the business.
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive
understanding of the company's hiring needs for each position,
including the skills and competencies underlying each role,
profiles of successful candidates, and the optimal markets to
target
- Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle across a variety
of roles, from senior associates to directors
- Ensure a sterling candidate experience and serve as an
effective ambassador of the brand in the market
- Identify and cultivate relationships with passive talent in
anticipation of future opportunities
- Maintain an active firm presence on professional networking
sites, job boards, and related platforms to source talentDaily and
Weekly Responsibilities
- Form relationships with internal management teams to learn the
ins and outs of their departments and better understand their
hiring needs and job specifications
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute
innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates
- In a self-directed capacity, exercise good judgment in
allocating time between farming, hunting, and administrative
activities
- Qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the
recruiting process from prepping before interviews to assisting
with final offer negotiation
- Use market knowledge to advise hiring managers on potential
bottlenecks
- Continuously review the assessment process and proactively
realign with hiring managers when faced with bottlenecks
- Serve as a warm and positive point of contact to candidates,
demonstrating the Equity Methods value proposition at each step of
the way
- Consistently and accurately update internal databases to track
activity and report out progress
- Obtain post-placement feedback from hiring managers to
continuously improve calibrationBasic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting in a professional services
environmentCompetencies of the Successful Candidate
- Ability to navigate sensitive candidate situations gracefully
and diplomatically by exercising good judgment, deep listening, and
a built-up knowledge of the firm's priorities and mindset
- Ability to understand and adapt to the needs, constraints, and
competing priorities of hiring managers and directors through
flexibility, deep listening, and customization in approach
- Creativity and ingenuity in formulating strategies to identify
and forge contact with outstanding candidates all while
representing the EM brand in a consistent manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills (e.g., typo-free
drafting, precision in messaging, and attention to detail)
- Proactive internal communication to ensure stakeholders are
adequately apprised of progress, strategies, bottlenecks, and open
priorities
- Efficiency and proficiency with common software tools,
including MS Office, applicant tracking systems (EM uses Jobvite),
LinkedIn, and job boards
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with
