The Manager, Quality Assurance ensures that all Plexus products and materials are manufactured according to applicable specifications, procedures, and GMPs. The position also verifies that Plexus quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements are met, to support the critical decision of releasing a product for human consumption. Position Accountabilities Responsible to develop, implement and manage quality processes of in-coming inspection of materials. Responsible for reviewing the inspection results to ensure compliance with the applicable specifications, understanding the technical meaning of such results. Review manufacturer Certificates of Analysis for compliance with PLEXUS. Responsible for releasing products. Conduct internal quality audits. Inform the Quality Assurance Director about deviations and be capable to work with product development manager to define quality attributes and acceptance and rejection criteria for PLEXUS products and materials. Prepare and distribute non-conformance reports according to established procedures. Collect, analyze, present, and maintain data to report and track conformance to quality requirements through the complaint management system; and prepare quality attribute trend reports. Responsible for gathering documents and compiling Serious Adverse Event Reports. Managing the quality of third-party international and domestic logistics release for product shipment. Expedite high priority product inspections. Responsible for managing the Returned Product Inspections. Responsible for managing product release for shipment to international markets. Expedite high priority inspections on international shipments. Keep accurate documentation of approvals for shipments. Responsible for managing the warehouse sanitation program and corresponding documentation. Responsible for monitoring day to day compliance with Quality Department SOP---s. Responsible for training and implementation of GMP processes and procedures. Responsible for maintaining Retains Database and oversight of Retain Storage. Manage Quality Inspection, Complaint, and Sanitation Team Members. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field or equivalent relative experience. Experience: 6 years in related field. Experience with quality assurance, auditing, good manufacturing experience.
