The Data Privacy Analyst will report to the Director, Data Privacy
and work closely with the Information Security team/Cybersecurity
team, Compliance, Legal, and act as a Data Privacy liaison to all
departments within our organization.
The Data Privacy Analyst will analyze, prioritize and convert
information into knowledge as part of a modified privacy
operational lifecycle. The analyst will analyze data, understand,
protect, sustain and respond to governance and oversight of Data
Protection business processes under the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other
laws where required. As such, the Data Privacy Analyst will, in
accordance with defined responsibilities and processes, advise on
and monitor data privacy compliance, advise on Data Protection
Impact Assessments, provide input to security incidents handling
and cooperate with and act as the point of contact for regulators
and third parties.
Job Duties:--- Coordinate data privacy requests, liaising with
business areas, Information Security, Information Technology, and
Records Management.--- Performs special projects and other duties
as may be assigned. Assists in leading special projects and duties
as directed by the Director, Data Privacy.--- Assist with data
privacy activities and processes including 3rd party vendor privacy
due diligence reviews, Data Protection Impact Assessments and
recording of processing activities.--- Assist with affecting change
beyond the Data Privacy Impact Assessment including controls that
are put in place which ensure the data inventory is updated.---
Actively establish and maintain required processes for the Data
Protection Office.--- Assist in driving data privacy risk
management and improvement, including providing oversight of data
privacy controls and testing the effectiveness of implemented
controls where appropriate.--- Work with stakeholders on data
privacy law, compliance and risks as required (for example by
providing input on any changes to scope in controls or processes
required as a result of new local laws).--- Assist with the
handling of individual rights requests.--- Provide data privacy
support for global information systems.--- Assist in managing
responses to requests from regulators, inspectors, and auditors,
and data subjects.--- Assist in developing training plan for the
business and in developing and presenting tailored training for
high-risk business areas.--- Compile statistics and reports in
support of metrics identified by the Director of Information
Security / Data Privacy.--- Communicating and prioritizing data
privacy risks, able to confidently express data privacy concepts
effectively to diverse audiences within the business.--- Knowledge
and understanding of US data privacy laws and practices.---
Experience with IT security requirements, privacy and security risk
assessments and best practices.--- Data classification, Data
mapping.--- Project management experience.--- Able to analyze and
support the implementation of privacy laws, regulations, and best
practices.--- Provide analytical support to the Director of Data
Privacy and act as a liaison to reporting departments.---
Development and implementation of privacy policies, standards and

Qualifications: --- High School Diploma--- Bachelor's degree
preferred--- 3-5 years' experience--- CIPP within 90 days
preferred--- Able to analyze, select and filter information based
on governance frameworks.
