Job Description:
Position Summary. The IT Support Specialist works closely with
the IT team to provide hardware and software technical support to
FineMark's associates. The IT Support Specialist responds to
queries, runs diagnostics, isolates problems, and
determines/implements solutions. This is not a remote position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides hardware/software technical support and assistance to
all associates.
- Provides the initial IT training to all new associates.
- Prioritizes workload to assist associates promptly and follows
up with associates to ensure that the issues have been
resolved.
- Ensures that support tickets submitted by associates are
processed and completed accurately and on time. Communicates the
status of support tickets with associates.
- Works with associates to ensure computer systems are operating
effectively.
- Creates and updates technical and training documentation as
necessary.
- Cleans up computers and runs diagnostic programs to resolve
technical issues.
- Researches hardware and software issues to determine the best
solution.
- Moves and installs all IT office equipment (e.g. computers,
telephones, cellphones, printers, smart devices, etc.)
- Maintains and monitors the inventory of all IT hardware.
- Travels to other FineMark office locations if necessary.
- Performs other related duties consistent with the scope and
intent of the position and as requested by management. Required
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum one to two years' experience as a helpdesk
associate
- Strong knowledge of basic computer hardware and software
- Experience with various operating systems including Windows10,
Mac, IOS and Android
- Extensive application support experience
- Working knowledge of diagnostic utilities
- Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal
skills. ability to listen well and respond in "user-friendly"
language and in "layman's terms" understandable to the internal
client
- Ability to perform as a team player and work collaboratively,
but independently, and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, self-starter with keen attention-to-detail
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and retention
skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks quickly in
a fast-paced environment
- Industry certification preferred (e.g., A+, Network +, MCP or

are required to perform activities such as viewing a computer
monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing;
preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close
visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be
necessary.Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially
exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to
moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical
