Responsibilities
Reporting to the CIO, the IT Operations Analyst is responsible for providing detailed project cost planning, tracking, and analysis in a variety of areas within the IT Department primarily including application, operations, and facilities projects, as well as general departmental operating expenses. In the area of departmental expense planning and management, the IT Operations Analyst will interface directly with members of the Consumer Cellular Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization for the creation and analysis of the annual IT Department budget. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with all divisions in the IT department, including Facilities, to prepare project budgets and perform periodic plan-to-actual analysis. The IT Operations Analyst will also be called upon to help develop, collect, and publish non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) across the department for both on-going and ad hoc activities. The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for designing and developing any new collection, planning, and reporting processes that are needed to support the function but do not currently exist in the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with significant coursework in Cost Accounting, Project Management or related fields
• 3+ years of project cost analysis and reporting or project accounting experience
• High degree of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to gather data from various sources and correlate disparate data to find and communicate trends
• Detailed orientation on all aspects of the job
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate up, down, and across levels of the organization
• Ability to create, manage, and enhance internal customer relationships
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities and plan work to meet deadlines
• Experience in IT Operations expense analysis and reporting preferred
• Experience in project cost planning and analysis preferred
• Familiarity with IT-related Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) preferred
• General knowledge of IT concepts, organizations, and services preferred
