Supporting Sales through technical discussions with customers and
properly scoping the programs will ensure we set up our customers
for success.
What You'll Do
Location: Scottsdale, AZ, USA or Remote
- Oversee the Sales Engineering team and their relevant
responsibilities
- Oversee the Product Evangelist team and their relevant
responsibilities
- Talent acquisition and development to accommodate
organizational growth
- Develop compensation models / plans for the teams that align
with company goals
- Manage training and on-boarding of new team members from Sales
and Sales Engineering
- Design territory assignments to balance capacity and
loading
- Improve processes for qualification and scoping of
deals
- Coordinate with Sales Leaders on methods and practices for
improving Sales focus
- Collaborate with Sales Operation teams on workflows, approvals,
quality
- Provides ongoing product training and resources for the
team
- Audit teams in the field to ensure performance
standards
- Fill in for team members as needed
- Facilitates and mediates escalations and after-action
reports
- Prioritize and schedule Product Evangelists
- Ensure the Sales Engineering teams have all the materials and
training required for success
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years experience in Technical Sales or Sales Engineering
leadership
- Bachelor's degree (minimum), preferred - Engineering or
Computer Science
- Minimum of 3+ years of SE experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of SAAS experience
- Extremely strong communicator (both oral & written)
- Demonstrated ability to lead, staff, coach, plan,
forecast
- Ability to influence cross-functionally to achieve
results
- Travel will be required. (up to 75%)
You May Also Have
- Master's degree or MBA
- Background in Networking and Enterprise Software
- Knowledge of security, ipsec, infosec, hacking and exploitation
tools and methodologies
- Must have basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating
systems, and storage devices
- Has successfully worked with and/or in a dispersed work force
environment
- Experience with CRM technology and operational tracking
