(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. This position offers an opportunity to provide
professional sign language interpreting services within school
settings, supporting effective communication for students who are
Deaf or hard of hearing. The role is based in Phoenix, AZ, with
travel between various schools required. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate clear and accurate sign language interpretation during
classroom instruction, meetings, and school events. Collaborate
with teachers, students, and staff to ensure an inclusive learning
environment. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all
interactions. Adapt interpreting techniques to meet the diverse
needs of students. Travel locally between school sites to provide
on-site support as needed. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills.
Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred. Ability
to manage travel efficiently within the Phoenix area. Excellent
communication, cultural competency, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of educational terminology and Deaf culture is a plus.
Location: Position based in Phoenix, Arizona, with required travel
