Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will work closely with patients recovering from acute illnesses or injuries, helping them achieve their highest level of independence through personalized rehabilitative services. You will be instrumental in developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and providing guidance to patients and their families. Assess patient condition to develop appropriate rehabilitative plans. Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home care techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in applying therapeutic techniques and principles Ability to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans Competence in handling rehabilitative equipment Excellent organizational and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license to practice occupational therapy NBCOT certification preferred
